About

Gulf Glamper, is a 2022 Grand Design camper nestled in the heart of Gulf Shores currently located at Island Retreat RV Park. The park is located along the scenic bicycle trail. This cozy retreat offers you the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Located just a 10-minute bike ride away from the vibrant center of Gulf Shores and a 15-minute pedal to the sun-soaked beaches.

Good to know

Experience the best of both worlds - close to town center, yet in a secluded and family friendly location. Enjoy an evening fire under the stars or enjoy fresh seafood just down the road. Gulf Glamper has a Livingroom kitchen combo, a pass through bathroom, and a bedroom with a full queen size bed. There is a pull out sofa that transforms into a bed. There is ample storage space through the camper for tucking away your items. The camper has three stairs that are required to enter. We have worked hard to provide everything you need to make your Gulf vacation perfect. Bedding, Linen and Bath Towels are provided. We allow two dogs under 40lbs each - there is an additional $75 pet cleaning fee per stay. The entire camper is available exclusively for your use. There is parking directly in front of the camper. You can use Uber, Bike or your personal car to enjoy the Gulf Shores area.

Other Details to Note

This is a self-catering property, but we do provide the basics to get you started - coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/conditioner, and basic cleaning supplies. If you require additional items or quantities of those provided you will need to provide those. There is a Walmart and grocery store less than 2 miles away. There is a shared neighborhood pool (Pool Hours - 9AM-9PM), horseshoe, and social area available for your use. There is also an onsite Laundry room and Gym available for all guests of the park. We will provide you with the full address of the RV park one day prior to your arrival. The RV Park will provide your site location at check in. We had a fantastic stay!! The camper is as pictured and clean. Close to everything you can think of to do. The park was fantastic clean and friendly staff we loved the pool! The bike trails were nice as well. There is a boat ramp across the street from the resort free parking and ramp I don't recall seeing that in the listing but a great perk for you fishing lovers 😀 Highly recommend

Admittedly...we are not RV people. Clean and surprising comfortable with loads of features i.e. an awning, picnic table, and an air conditioner that didn't miss a beat! And for not RV people...it was EASY BREEZY. We are very tall - about 5 11" and 6 2" and we were able to fit VERY comfortably in the RV and with our baby (and two small little pups). We were even able to put a pack and play in the living space for her to sleep. The RV location was PERFECT -- close to the RV's private bathrooms with very nice showers (if you didn't feel like squeezing into the RV shower). And the RV park had plenty of nice facilities like a lovely pool and a perfect location to the beach! Tim and Cindy were LOVELY to work with and are clearly beloved by the RV park folks :) We will do this again! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved being able to include our dogs into our vacation. Tim and Cindy are phenomenal hosts with quick response times. I couldn’t have asked for an easier check in. Would definitely stay here again!

My son and I visited from Fort worth, Tx., long drive; however, once we arrived we felt right at home. We enjoyed the amenities, we walked to everything on site, enjoyed the pool and lounging areas. The beach is so close, RV is private, quiet area and we loved the experience of an RV (1ST TIME). RV was just right for us, clean, spacious and I cooked daily without an issue. Tim and Cindy were very responsive and helpful along the trip. Onsite RV park staff were very nice and we would definitely stay here again. Bonding time was 100%!

The camper was immaculate and was exactly as described. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and the camper was stocked with needed items.
